Jeevitha Ramesh works as the Research Associate at the Center for Integrative Health and Wellbeing.
She has a Masters degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from JSS Academy, Mysore. Prior to working with the Center, she worked with DRDO, New Delhi and Narayana Hrudayalaya on various projects related to 'Sleep and Brain' and Clinical Psychology. She is equipped with brain analysis techniques like EEG (electroencephalogram) and ERP (event related potentials) that she uses in her projects.
Jeevita is interested in pursuing applied research in the fields of neurosciences and cognitive psychology and their implications for health, wellbeing and education. She currently leads the design and implementation of the research activities of the Center of Excellence for Cognitive Neurosciences in the areas of child learning and development, cognitive reserve in the adults and elderly. She is also supporting a research based training module that adopts emotional intelligence framework, to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness in schools.
