Wellness by Heartfulness

Get to Know Us

Kanha Wellness Centre is an initiative of Heartfulness Institute, offering integrated holistic health care through a blend of more than ten healing disciplines such Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Homeopathy Yoga, Physiotherapy, Energy healing and others, all under one roof. As its research and knowledge partner,CIHW will support research studies, data analysis and publications in the space of integrative medicine, support in development of protocols for practising evidence based integrative medicine, develop and pilot-test integrative lifestyle programs for various target populations. Along with Heartfulness Yoga Academy, a sister concern of Heartfulness Institute, CIHW has hosted an elderly wellness program successfully in the past.

CIHW has had active engagement with academia and universities in the past and continues to deepen its academic and research pursuits.

 

For post graduates and fellows of Chanakya University, Bangalore, CIHW developed a 2 credit course on policy, research and practice related to integrative health and wellbeing during 2024-25. The students were exposed to relevance of the topic in the changing epidemiological landscape, the theoretical frameworks and policies surrounding integrative health both in India and globally, while critically reviewing the implications and amendments required to effectively implement the policies on the ground.

CIHW is supporting MGM University, Mumbai to set up a centre for Integrative Medicine research in addition to working closely with the medical colleges and school of biosciences to step up research capacities of the faculty and the students.

​

In the past a two credit course on Integrative Health and Wellbeing (based on the book authored by the founder) was offered to more than 500 students of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore. Here the students were taken through practical and experiential sessions on various aspects of integrative lifestyle while inspiring them to adopt healthy lifestyle in their early years.
